DETROIT, MI - Giving Forward is in full swing as KommuniTEE has partnered with COTS Detroit to kick off KommuniTEE's 1st annual, Giving Forward mission for 2023. COTS Detroit, the recipient of Custom, name-plated Hoodies for 10 young ladies. Each Black Hoodie was made with them in mind with a gold, shimmery name- plate.
"What young lady doesn't like her name on her clothing" says, Denise Godfrey, Activities Coach/Youth Coordinator for COTS Detroit.
COTS Detroit provides emergency Shelter, transitional housing and comprehensive supportive services to men, children and women experiencing homelessness.
Verbatim: KommuniTEE partners with organizations like COTS to give forward. The Give Forward mission is rooted in apparel crowdfunding for youth ages 7- 20 of Southeastern Michigan. Dedicated to providing Three hundred and thirteen units of apparel to The KommuniTEE of Detroit and surrounding areas on an annual basis.
KommuniTEE is also committed to increasing the confidence of our young future leaders by teaching entrepreneurial skills and utilizing social media trends to leverage influencer ability. These efforts will also Create space for financial literacy and creative expression programs. These classes, made possible by partnering donors like Hart Eclectic Photography of Detroit.
